ANNUAL CERTIFICATIONS
The certification of the chief executive officer required by the New York Stock Exchange Listing Standards, relating to Belo’s compliance with the New York Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Listing Standards, was submitted to the New York Stock Exchange on June 9, 2005. In addition, Belo filed as exhibits to its most recently filed Form 10-K the certifications of the Company’s principal executive officer and principal financial officer required by the Securities and Exchange Commission under Sections 302 and 906 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
