WHAS11 most watched and #1 news station
Louisville, KY -- WHAS11 won the important February 2004 ratings period by winning more newscasts than its competitors combined and was Kentuckianas most watched television station. Here are the highlights: M-S 6a-2a WHAS11 is Kentuckianas NUMBER ONE most watched television station Monday through Sunday. M-F 5aWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in the time period.
M-F 6aWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in viewership, almost equaling the combined household viewership of WLKY-TV and WAVE-TV. WHAS11s Good Morning Kentuckiana has a household audience of more than 47,000 and is greater than any of WLKYs or WAVEs Noon, 5pm, 5:30pm and 6pm newscasts.
M-F 12nWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in the time period overcoming a huge lead-in deficit to win by growing its audience from the lead-in by 42% while WLKY-TV loses 11% of its audience.
M-F 5pWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in the time period and now has a 69% share lead over WAVE-TV, and a 36% share lead over WLKY-TV. WHAS11 News is #1 matching last February's share of audience and equaling the largest share of audience in the time period since November 1999. WLKY-TVs share of audience is the smallest February number since the mid-90's. WAVE-TVs share of audience is the smallest on record.
M-F 5:30pWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in the time period matching the largest share of audience in the time period since November, 1999. WLKY-TVs and WAVE-TVs share of audience is the smallest number since the mid-1990's. WHAS11 NEWS @ 5:30pm now has a 69% share lead over WAVE-TV, and a 57% share lead over WLKY-TV.
M-F 6pWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in the time period matching last February's share of audience and has the biggest share of audience in the time period since February 1999. WLKY-TVs audience is the smallest in two years. WAVE-TVs share of audience is the smallest number since the mid-1990's. WHAS11 NEWS @ 6:00pm now has a 68% share lead over WAVE-TV and a 50% share lead over WLKY-TV.
M-F 11pWHAS11 News is NUMBER ONE in growth of audience from 10:45pm to 11:00pm. WHAS11 grows audience share 17% while WAVE-TV increases 5% and WLKY-TV loses 8% of its audience. Here are the numbers:
