WHAS11.com launches Ad Center, a self-service tool for advertisers

Louisville, KY -- WHAS11.com, the Web site affiliated with WHAS11, announced today that it has launched a self-service advertising tool, AdCenter, for businesses actively promoting their products and services online. Powered by Amazing Media, Inc.'s AdVariant product, AdCenter provides advertisers the tools needed to handle the creation and placement of online ads.

Now, advertisers can create effective rich media display ads and geographically target their campaign within Louisville using WHAS11.com or among a network of 24 other local news and information Web sites. Using this new service, advertisers can also securely pay for their online ad campaign and monitor the results of their campaign. AdCenter is especially beneficial for companies with modest marketing budgets, as advertisers create, target, schedule, execute and monitor campaigns in a simple, step-by-step process. From this single application, AdCenter users can:

  • Create or upload an ad design of their choice. The system supports all forms of rich media and a variety of formatted design templates are provided for advertisers to easily assemble their online message.
  • Select a specific web site like WHAS11.com or a number of sites within the Belo Interactive network, start date, number of impressions, campaign duration, and launch the campaign.
  • Pay securely online with a major credit card.
  • Monitor results at any time through sophisticated online campaign performance reports.

"The Internet is a proven marketing vehicle, and as local companies with modest marketing budgets begin promoting their businesses online, we think they'll find AdCenter's easy-to-use system an excellent tool for building successful online advertising campaigns," says Rick Casta, WHAS11.com sales manager.
